Miriam Stickler was introduced to the fine art of chocolate making while in culinary school in New York. Hooked, she apprenticed with a top New York chocolatier to hone her skills. After moving to San Francisco a few years later, she launched Stickler Chocolates with her Maritimer husband, Trevor Curwin. They soon gained a faithful following at farmers markets there, but deep down they missed the East Coast. So they moved back to Halifax, where they're excited to be part of the vibrant local food scene.
